Message from the President
Members of the Western Society of Pediatric Cardiology-
First I wanted to thank everyone who came and participated in the recent meeting in San Francisco May 9th and 10th. It was very successful and in a wonderful city. Thanks again to Phil Moore and David Teitel for arranging and hosting.
And the planning starts for next year! We are currently in the process of finalizing the venues and dates for 2009 AND 2010 to avoid any last minute scrambling. We’ll post that information as soon as it is complete. We hope to be sending out ‘save the date’ notices as well as membership renewals in the next few months. At this time, we will keep membership dues and meeting registration fees separate but will be increasing the fees by a small margin.
We are also in the process of updating our roster, which is very out of date, as mentioned at the business meeting. I have contacted some of you already, but we would appreciate it if members could send your updated contact information, business mailing address, email, phone numbers and institution affiliation. This will only be used to send out membership and meeting notices. Please notify either myself or Liz Pena (contact info below). An abridged version will be available on the website only with names, institution affiliation with institution address and phone numbers. Once we’ve collected as much information as possible, we will post an updated roster.
We look forward to next year’s meeting of course but also to any feedback or notices that you would like to send us. It is my goal to try to keep the Society as updated as possible. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, suggestions etc…
